My father was a police officer in Utica, NY when I was growing up, I remember his patch collection hanging on the walls of our house and when he passed away in early 1984 the collection was moved to our attic for storage. When I became a deputy in 2001 I knew that I wanted to restart his collection, it has taken some time to bring the collection down from New York and get them cataloged and scaned.
